RMC now issues Certificate of Donations to those who volunteer their time to enhance RMC efforts in fighting for the plight of refugees and asylum seekers in South Africa.
Volunteers can assist in the following programmes:
- Paralegal - to assist with asylum access monitoring at the Refugee Reception Centres throughout the country
- Counsellors who can assist at our Walk-in Centre
- Communications - those with communication skills can assist with our documentation needs
- Social activities which include sorting out donated items and helping with the distribution once per quarter
RMC will provide training for paralegals who go into the field to do access and detention monitoring at no cost.
Please volunteer with RMC, any skill adds value. You get a lot of fulfilment by supporting the cause and making a difference!
RMC also offers internships to fully funded students.
